For sale: My excellent condition ATH-W1000X. I am the first owner, I purchased them in March 2011 and have the original receipt.

 

They are provided in the box, which is in almost-perfect condition.

 

The 'phones themselves have a small chip on the plug, and a tiny, tiny dent on one ear cup which is only visible if you look for it, or if light reflects off it (the varnish is not chipped off or anything). Both of these are shown in the pictures.

 

I am selling these because I have a pair of HD800s, and have been using them less and less recently, and I'd prefer the cash for portable setup purchasing.

 

 

I prefer London pickup with cash payment (or I can deliver them myself within central London), I am situated near London Bridge.  

 

I will also accept paypal + shipping to UK addresses (or EU if good feedback) only. 

 

 

Please let me know if you have any questions, or want any further pictures etc.

worst of all I'm selling my closed back Mad Dogs and I'd love a freaking Wodden ATH can... and at $500 new <.< I might get these when I pick up a HE 500 :O

In the UK they are £500+ from authorised sellers, so I do mean £350 biggrin.gif

Well then you have problems with customs, support etc. etc. The UK + EU are almost always much more expensive than the US.

Also I will only sell to the UK, and the last person selling these in the UK sold his W1000X pretty quickly for £350.

There is one very simple reason.

 

I get no paypal seller protection if I sell to someone in the EU. In the UK I am covered by paypal. 

No protection for me = bad = I won't do it.

 

I would accept paypal gift for EU people but that is of course very risky for them, and I wouldn't expect anyone to pay that way.

I just paid $300 USD here for a pair in the states! Sadly they are under 10hours use so I'll ave to burn em in a little

Well as I said things cost much more here.

 

£350 is a good price for the UK, and it's going to stay there.

yea I'm sorry to hear that, I don't get why things cost more there, hell your money is worth MORE than ours and yet it seems your cost of living is more as well :o seems bizzare
