Seller Negative Feedback

If I leave NEGATIVE Feedback for a seller who broke rules and scammed me for profit, can I leave Negative Feedback without having the seller come back and leave me false retaliatory feedback?  If I 'block ' the member does that help prevent them from further scamming me?

If you were scammed, then I would post it. Might save another "victim" from dealing with the same thing. Good luck!

Unfortunately a seller can leave negative feedback in retaliation. It's happened before frown.gif

Same problem that eBay struggled with for years until it was resolved by only allowing buyer feedback for transactions therefore

preventing problematic sellers from abusing the system with retaliatory feedback.  Buyers were able to leave honest feedback,

and sellers were therefore encouraged to improve their practices and resolve issues before feedback is left.

So, unfortunately I'm not going to chance ruining my impeccable feedback from a disreputable seller - too bad frown.gif  mad.gif

Just leave a positive feedback if you got what you paid for and be honest in your comments. Just like Ebay, it's hilarious to see how people write negative comments whilst leaving positive feedback. The smart Head-Fi'ers will read the feedback like I do, others will just look at the total feedback count.
