Best headphones for around $100-150?

After about a year of listening to the xb500, I've decided its finally time to upgrade my headwear :P I'm honestly not sure where to look anymore, I was absolutely sure about the ATH-M50's but now I'm not sure. Theres such a huge market of headphones that I'm not sure where too look anymore! All I'm looking for is a flat sounding headphone similar in price to the M50.

Is there a place to get the V-moda cheaper?

Plenty of deals on the V-Moda headphones, I would sub to the deals threads in both the "Headphone" and "Portable Headphones/IEMs" . They are on sale constantly on multiple websites.

Thanks. I don't think the V-moda is for me though. Is the shure-440 the best I would find for the price?

You should take a look at the reviews here at head-fi for the KRK KNS 6400 and KRK KNS 8400.
