How many hours straight can you wear a "comfortable" set of headphones? - Page 5

- T50rp with Alpha pads - as long as I want, as long as it's cool or the ear pads get sweaty. If it's warm I have to take small breaks to let my ears cool. It's almost always cool inside where I do most of my listening though.

- AKG Q701 - usually for as long as I'd like. Sometimes the bumps bother me, but usually they do not.

- Vsonic GR01 (IEM) - maybe an hour at a time, need to take breaks or they bother my ears. They are comfy for being IEM's though, I just prefer full size headphones.

5-6 hours daily with a pair of LCD-2s. I still don't get how anyone can complain about the comfort on these......

The ear pads are great but the headband is bumpy and leaves preesure points for me.

The clamp is awful and its extremely heavy. IMO.

990pro I can wear for about 2 hours but cups are shallow and my ears stick out a bit so preferred HD 598 for comfort because cups are much deeper.

They're heavy. They can cause neck strain after extended use.

From my experience:

2-3 hours on the K701. ~4 hours both on K272HD and SRH1840. 5-6 hours on the HD700.

Swap it out for the rev.1 foam headband, easily superior to the rev.2 and LCD3 headband in terms of comfort and this will also determine how long you can wear it for.

Kinda funny, but I've been finding I sleep a lot better when I fall asleep with my T1s on. I fire up a podcast when I'm ready to get settled in, and after it's done and it turns off, I end up with super comfy phones on my ears that allow me to sleep more soundly.

How do the new momentums on-ear($233) compare with the original ones ($350)?
