Artists You Hate And Can't Stand.

Just name them! We all have that dark hate for some artists because they copy everything, are a**holes, or any other reason.

(Explain the hate)

Here's a few:

One Direction, they rip-off everyone. Blondie, Pat Benatar, The Clash.
Lil' Wayne, this guy sucks and Drake (I think) said he's the best rapper ever? WTF.
Taylor Swift, ALL of her songs (Literally ALL) are about a boy who broke up with her or something. Examples: “Picture to Burn”, "Our Song", "We Are Never Ever Ever Ever Ever Ever Ever Getting Back Together, "Story Of Us", "Mean", etc.

There's plenty of amazing new Metal...

 

Any particular artists? Or are we talking Nu Metal as a genre itself, because I can agree with that one.

Oh yeah, Nu metal drives me batty. It's just hard to find anything original in the metal scene lately. Imo

Not really sure I'd call them Metal. More like videogame rock. ;)

I'd have to say new Metal wise though...Enslaved, Riverside, Testament, Katatonia...

 

There's a lot more bands that are putting out quality stuff. I guess it depends on how far we're putting the 'new' designation.

But as far as the original post, The Proclaimers. If I hear 'I would walk 500 miles' I'll scream. I'd rather have my head slammed in car door repeatedly than listen to those dolts. biggrin.gif

Yeah, I think it's like a modern Trash Metal. Maybe more like Industrial or Symphonic.

New means active. If they haven't released anything after 2010 or something it's not new.

I'm sure I will catch some flack for this, but I strongly dislike Mumford & Sons. I thought their first album was crap and this was way before they became popular. IMO the Pitchfork review hit the nail right on the head.

My brother loves them, I just have them on my library because of him, they are not in my favorites, but I can stand them for some time.

They're absolutely stunning live. The first album was produced really poorly. The second sounds better. I have both on vinyl as I really enjoy the music, but the first album I can at least agree upon when it comes to sound.
