Suggested upgrade from PFE 232 - Page 3

I looked into getting the flat4's you spoke of, hardto find to buy! I went on their website, and despite there being some English on it, I couldn't make heads or tails out of its cost or how to order!

If you still like the sound of the PFE232's and want a fuller sound...the Bowers and Wilkins P7 will do.

Since my last posting on this subscription, I have gone through the whole lot of other headphones. T-peos h-200, ue900,ie8, ie80, jvc victor, jvc fxv200,pro gold, copper, miles Davis, x10, denon urban raver, amps hd, and then I went through a big over the ear headphone stage. I should be receiving Sony X BA 40 headphones in the next five days as well.
However, I think I found a great complement to my PSE232 (still the reigning champion); the kef m200's! They have a very strong build quality, and their design is unique and looks very cool. This is in stark contrast to the very understated PFE's. They feature dual dynamic drivers, which again, is in contrast to the dual balanced Armature of the PFE's. The bass rocks on these like only dynamic driver can. Sound is very well balanced. The soundstage is enormous as well.
The only issue with these is the little bit of a struggle at the beginning to find the perfect fit; again, stark contrast from the perfect fit of the PFE's!
This search will continue undoubtedly for the remainder of my years (with pleasure). The Sonys are coming next. But, these kef's are keepers. I would highly recommend them for those that are PFE fans like I am.
