Hope you guys had a blast. Just got in from the office, gotta love getting out later than intended. I definitely want to take part in the next Ohio one, for sure.

Fun meet was fun. Already miss the HE-6 and the TH900.

Agreed.  Too bad I had to leave early, but I'm glad I was able to make it for as long as I did.  Hopefully I'll have some more things to bring next meet, too.

Hope to see pics and impressions. I had a busy weekend, maybe next time for me. Sounded like a bad ***** gear lineup! What was the favorite of meet?

I have never been to one of these, but would love to get to one in Ohio someday.

I am very interested in hearing how the RS1's stacked up with this group of headphones, as I just recently have gotten a pair and I just adore them.

I have put tons of hours on them in a very short period of time.

Hey hey!  That was pretty fun.  Nice to meet everyone.

Came home and read up a little on those AKG 702 Anniversaries.  k701smile.gif

I found the GS pads on them are comfortable and adds a bit of soundstage. I'll get a pair soon as my current pads are shot. But regardless of what you do, Grado is a Grado is a ......... You either like them or hate them on how you like your highs presented. If I'm active, I like. If I'm settling in for some relaxing time, not so much.

Awesome meet! Too bad my HD650 was broken...Oh well, the HE500 still sounded really good on the D1, so I need to start saving up now.

I sympathize your misfortune. I hope you can get resolution for getting them fixed. The HD-650 is still a very good headphone. But I'm a sucker for the HE. I think the 500s are the most versatile cans for hi fidelity. It does well on a lot of ss amps and scales nicely with higher end gear. It's presentation can be changed with different pads and can be ran from speaker amps, saving the need for a headphone amp.

Thanks everyone for that great meet!

That was my first headphone meet - I'm really glad I saw the thread in time.  I honestly had no idea there were that many Head-fiers in the area.

I was totally humbled by the calibur of gear I saw.  Prepoman's headphone collection in particular was stunning.  I never expected I'd be in the same room as some of that gear, let alone hold and hear them.

I showed up kind of late, and I didn't think to whip out my camera after some gear was already gone/packed up, but I still snapped off a couple shots and will upload them when I get a chance.  (I apologize in advance about the blur/noise in the photos  - I didn't think to bring a tripod so I was hand-holding at dangerously slow shutter speeds/high ISOs).

Feel free to put me on the "mailing list" for whenever the next meet is wink.gif

Yeah.  I'm glad I A-Bed my anniversaries next to yours, otherwise I probably wouldn't have noticed that my right driver had that minor rattle during low bass.  It's pretty much undetectable in normal music, but now that I know it's there it will bother me if I don't send it out for fixing.
