Beyerdynamics DT 770 PRO - Solder new minijack

Well - I needed to shorten the cable on my DT 770.. I am a little puzzled by this cable, as it doesn't seem like these 3 colored wires are isolated from each other? Trying with a Neutrik ntp3rc-b I am not able to find out which wire goes where.. Anyone done this with this cable? Straight original cable on DT 770 80 Ohm

Edit: Solved it. Everone else probably knows this, but the red and blue coloured coating is tha actual isolation. So after carefully sanding it down a little it worked beautifully.

Yeah it's kind of a layer of paint or enamel that insulate the wires. It's like magnet wires.

You just sand it off.
