The bass is a bit richer, not as much as i thought. Tempted to remove a second cover. Was worried when i hit the diaphram but doesnt seem to have done anything (just bent thin plastic, no hole).

Cups are still a little small, and replacing them wont make them bigger in circumference.

I agree that the A900X are awesome with their great detail, clarity, plenty of bass, great midrange and sparkly treble. They are more comfortable than some give the impression of. They have a good soundstage for a closed phone and good isolation. I like them as much as my Senn. HD 580.
