This is my first time posting here, please be gentle with me. :D
Hoping that some of you have experience in this setup and could give me advice on how to get it to work.
I have been using Hippo Cricri+ DAC on my MacBook Air all this while and it has been working great. As for music player, I was using SongBird (1 of the only few FLAC capable player) to play my collection of CD's ripped in FLAC format.
Recently, my friend recommended Audirvana Plus to me. While I was testing it out without my DAC, it sounded nicer than the output SongBird gave me. Unfortunately, when I tried to use it alongside with my DAC, it sort of failed to initialise my DAC. Worse of all, it made the DAC stopped working. The only way to make the DAC working again is to unplug and re-plug the USB cable.
I have already played around with the settings in Audirvana, as well as setting Audirvana to directly communicate with the DAC. Nothing seems to work so far.
Hopefully some of you have similar setup which got the DAC working.
