I don't know if it's still the case, but the Westone UM3X I owned in the past was made in the USA.

Maybe get her Etymotic ER-4P's?

They are Made in USA. You can tell her Hillary Clinton wears them.

Unless she has something against Hillary Clinton, in that case don't.

She is especially particular to country of origin.

She does not think the Japanese are fore coming with the radiation level leak.

She is currently using Grado but still very much prefer the Sennheiser it replaced.

She tried the IE800 but hate it...

I can't think of anything else anymore..

Sad.  Should probably avoid North Korea too.

This lady is a bit strange....but all power to her!

I'm pretty sure that Fisher-Amp IEMs are manufactured in Germany.

The lady is eccentric..yes..Foolish..no.

There is no racism involve..the lady is chinese..

She is just particular over product safety and workmanship.

She is very particular abt her "sound" which is my fault..she was a bundled earbud user till she put on my HD600 with a bijou DIY amp....her home rig is a Leban CS300 with a HD800.

She purchased a MKIII and a HD600 for her office use.

She is NOT entirely off China product..she does uses a HM602 till recently (it was stolen). She is on Cowon J3 and a SR225 now.

Anyways, the radiation issue is mere bollocks; I'm pretty sure whatever that is manufactured in Japan has negligible radiation levels; should be safe enough. You'll get more radiation from x-rays or heck, mobile phone usage anyways compared to the radiation coming from made-in-Japan IEMs lol.
