Thanks for the effort, but I might have been exagerating a bit, my level is largely sufficient to ask them that :) It is really cute how you translate pinyin in phonetics though :)

 

Anyways I will try even better: I will ask them to loan it against a deposit over the weekend...

BTW, I've called for reinforcements from the Diary thread to help out if need be.

But this thing says it is directly competing with the dx100, we all have a dog in this race,  different dog though

Oh you know you're gonna.  But posting here makes it seem like you fought a good fight.  wink.gif  You know, if you get it fast enough, and evaluate it fast enough, you could always sell it here if you don't like it.  I would think rarity alone would make someone want it.

Not yet anyway.

 

Even if it does end up being better, I'd have to weigh that against my satisfaction with the DX100, and I might not upgrade anyway...

Amyways, even if I like it so much I sell everything else I have, it will not be sufficient to convince people unless these guys give the player visibility. And so far they have not returned my mails, even the one where I pretended to be a potential distributor smily_headphones1.gif

I don't think that the new AR has to abide by the same rules as the White House, they may not feel obliged to pay attention to our petition.

If everything goes according to plan I am going there tommorrow with some music on my USB and requesting to try it vs. my DX100 and the Studio 3rd they also have. We will see how it goes ! And if I get out of the store with 7800 RMB less (price of both players :) )
