Does Any Other Headphone Have More Of A Love/Hate Opinion...Other Than Grado's

Ever since I have been here on these forums, it seems like the Grado headphones has either a I love them or I hate them opinion.

 

Am I correct in thinking this, or is it just me and all headphones have the same opinions.

 

Is the Grado sound signature that much different, than any other headphone, or just most other headphones.

Ultrasone also heavily divide opinions aswell.

^^^Yep Ultrasone is the other. Although Grados the added have a love/hate of being supraural which is my reason for not keeping them even though I love their sound.

Interesting, what makes the love/hate relationship with the ultrasones?

 

People that do not like the Grado, it seems they are too bright for them, or a comfort issue.
