Fiio E10 broken after one day.

Suddenly my Fiio e10 turned off. After plugging it in, the light flashes 4 times, pauses, then 4 more times, then turns dark until I re plug it. And it is not showing up in my computer. Has anyone had any similar problem? Broken in about 24 hours.

Have you tried it on another PC?

No, but 4 other usb devices are working properly and have never done anything similar. Tried a different cable though. Does the way the light flashes have any meaning? 4 flashes, 4 flashes, then 2, then dark. Does that over and over.

Other USB device working really doesn't indicate anything, since USB Audio device has different driver then other devices. Check it with another PC, just so you know whether it is the E10 or it is your PC.

Its a mac and the problem persist even if I'm in windows Bootcamp. So i tried two OS's. Is that enough to rule out a driver problem? I don't really have access to another computer at this time unfortunately.:/ It was working perfectly, and all of a sudden it was turned off... Checking google it seems I am the only one in the history of this product to ever have this exact problem.

Thanks for the help

Well, contact the seller and arrange for RMA. If the seller refuse to help or can't be reached, try contacting FiiO directly.

you can try it in another USB port to see if it can work, and the light flashes have not any meaning.

Yeah I tried them all and the same thing happens. Does it seem like a card malfunction or does it seem more like a compatibility issue? I was really enjoying the sound and now it's dead. Have you ever heard of this happening on any other situation? :(

Also, another question, I bought it from a website that claims it's an Olympus model, but the word "olympus" is nowhere to be found on the card it self or in the manual. The headphone jack is silver too, I though Olympus had a gold jack? Are they making false advertisement or is there an Olympus model with those features?

Thanks

1, The headphone jack should be gold jack if it came with " Olympus " silk screen.

2, It seems there are something wrong with your E10.

3, Who are the dealer who sold you the E10? you can try to contact the dealer to get replacement.
