Was considering to get a cable along with it IF I do purchase it:)

Fitment sounds annoying haha

You could always buy them and get customs made. Of course if its in your budget, its WELL worth it. Throw on a quality cable and its music bliss.

Will do! Seems like the TF-10's have it over the IE8 in the poll tongue.gif

IE8s are considered bass heavy. It wouldn't ever really be everyone's cup of tea smily_headphones1.gif

I never considered the TF10s in league with the IE8s lol. Not even... You add silver cable and apply the tape mod and I feel the IE80s completely outclass them. I never really understood the hype on the TF10s. The mids are very recessed, treble sound hollow like it will break, and the bass is also bloated (not as bad as the IE8 without the tape mod). Overall the sound is very artificial and I could never get into it. After I reshelled my TF10s I couldn't stand using them for music. They sounded awful. For games though they worked great.

Hmm.. well, I'm not exactly the bass-heavy type, I'm more of the all-round balance type, so I guess the IE8's weren't made for me.

I'll keep an eye out for TF 10's when my other eBay stuff arrive biggrin.gif

from my own experience also ie8 stock sound like ****.. but once when u do the tape mode and add a silver cable.. u could beat the crap out of TF10s all day alone....   TF10s are very artificial sounding...  but ie8 becomes a dam different league after moding,,, + the fitting is also not as hectic as tf10s... ( at least u can rely on JVC tips)      im not a Sennheiser fan boy by any means... but gt to tell the truth. TF10's are over hyped, even the IE8's... but moding makes IE8 the real deal.. :D

what ever its ur call..

Yeah, and by tape mod, do you mean taping over the hole on the plate of the IE8's?

Haha, to be honest, that doesn't look very nice and is just temporary..It make make a difference, but it makes the IEMs looks so tacky.
