Recabling Beyerdynamic T90....need advice

I've looked around the forum trying to find information regarding the recabling of the T90's with no success. I recently purchased a pair of T90's. I like their comfort and sound, but hate the cable. For my needs the cable is extremely too long. I also do not like the screw-on 1/8" to 1/4" adaptor. I realize that I could re-terminate the factory cable at a shorter length and basically get what I want, but I'd like to put a better, more sturdy, cable on them.

Does anyone know of a recabled T90 or who might do a good job of it? Any advice on the type of cable or anything else would be appreciated. I have a budget of ~$150. I could spend more if need be.

Apparently it has been done. Thanks MrViolin. I've contacted them through their site. I wait anxiously....

From moon audio's website:

In response to ptolemy2k6's pm:

Actually never went through with recabling the T90's. I reached out to Forza Audioworks and Moon audio for quotes. Both of them were pretty expensive. Almost as much as I spent on the T90's. I bought my used by the way.

I thought I might be able to do the T90's myself, but lost the nerve after opening them up. It's a pretty intricate job. Now that I've completed a few other recabling projects and because I've owned them for a while and don't hold them to as high of an esteem as I once did I might give it a go. I also own a pair of 770 beyers and might try a practice run on them since they are similar.

So what are you wanting to do to yours?
