Honestly put a good amp in front of them, I promise you will hear the difference. They are quite a bit better with a Neco
in front. Beyond all the usually things that an amp does, you get a nice bass eq for when you want it and pleasing
sweet liquidity that improves on the subtley dry but still wonderful midrange balance.
