The bass on the 4 Ai ain't too shabby either . The 5.0 was fun splurge and probably will get me back to listening to some of my favorite reggae groups like Groundation and SOJA. If anything the 5.0 is going to get me out of my musical routines and enjoying different genres that the 4.Ai could do but not as well as the 5.0.
I completely agree with this assessment. The 4.ai is fantastic, but the 5.0 has me seeking out and listening to totally different tracks and music styles.
I think in some ways the micro detail on the 5.0 surpasses the 4.ai, but I have not done enough comparison listening to pinpoint the differences.
The low end is really what sets the 5.0 apart, really good but not bloated or bass head, just gut punching goodness.
