Are yuins still the king of earbuds? - Page 3

ear buds never really isolate, thats what IEM's are for.

I would try the Sunrise Audio Charm3, Dragon2 is a little on the leaner side, so a bass boost is welcome, but Charm3 sound good as are, just working on my review.

Yea, im just saying the m2c isolates way worse than the pk2s for some reason.

Any idea what the holes on the back of the earbuds are for?

Vents for driver movement

Sennheiser MX985. If there's any earbud to top it in terms of sound, I doubt they'd get anywhere near it in terms of anything else.

How do the vents work?

Oh another weird thing i noticed with the m2c....while it plays a song fine, it seems to react weirdly when i have more than one sound input. E.G. If i'm playing a game, and i have sound effects and music on, the music tends to get swallowed up by the sound effects....and it's not a matter of the music being too soft either. Not sure how to describe it? It's like the earphones can't seperate the two different sound inputs properly. Is there a term for this?

vents just let the driver move properly, to sound right.

The other comment i dont know.

which good sounding earbuds will have the smallest diamater and depth? i am asking this, because i am still searching for an earbud, that will not cause any pain, while lying on the side. iems are no option.

sunrise audio Dragon2 are pretty small, i can just lay on my side with them in.

Definitely Yuin PK2 or PK3. Those are probably the smallest regular earbuds around today. And the PK2 sound pretty good...

Blox is crazy to let these go out of stock so often.  Unless they're trying to manipulate the market by creating an artificial scarcity and increasing the exclusivity of the m2c :P  I just tried these against some similarly priced hisoundaudio paa-1 pro and greatly preferred the m2c
