For Sale:
FS: Like-New Sony MDR-EX1000 w/ EX1000 Cable Japanese Edition IEM Headphones (USA)

Will Ship To: USA

I never thought this day would come, but it is time for me to sell my absolute most prized/favorite universal IEMs: the Sony MDR-EX1000 w/ EX1000 Cable (Japanese Edition). I am selling these headphones only to fund my first serious audiophile full-sized headphone. Absolutely nothing is wrong with these EX1000s, and I can guarantee that there is not a cleaner pair of Japanese Edition EX1000s out there - seriously.

I purchased these EX1000s brand new directly from Amazon.co.jp (and not a third-party Amazon retailer). As the pictures show, these IEMs are truly in pristine condition. There are no scratches/dents/imperfections on them, as they were used only in my home. I have put approximately 28 hours on them, so they are barely even "broken in" truthfully. I never even used any of the other included tips except for the medium-sized Sony hybrid pair that came on them; the extra Sony hybrid and noise-isolating foam pairs are still completely brand new and have never been in my ears. There obviously are no sound production issues with the IEMs too.  For those of you wondering if the Japanese version is worth the upgrade over the United States version, there is no question that it is in my eyes.  The soundstage is even larger with better imaging and more bass presence/tightness.  It was a no brainer for me to purchase them.

As the pictures show, I kept literally everything that came with them: the original Sony box (with original Sony protective plastic bag) and the IEMs complete with all of the accessories/paperwork/wrappings. The IEMs include everything that I received them with down to the last twisty tie. You will be receiving them just as I did and how the pictures show.

I would let them go for ***SOLD*** shipped to the continental USA via a Paypal gift payment (or plus the additional 3% for regular Paypal fees). I know this seems like a lot of money, but I paid over $750.00 for them (not including Tenso shipping fees) when they first came out.  I will only ship to a confirmed Paypal shipping address as well.

Please let me know if you have any quesitons via PM. I check my inbox frequently, so I will respond to all PMs quickly. Thank you!

They're currently $418 on amazon.jp. What you paid is immaterial to their value.

I simply don't want you to waste your time at an inflated price.

I recognize that - thank you.

I will just have to think about what price adjustment will have to occur.
