I'm reminded of The Abso!ute Sound's copyright notice which used to read "Not one word of The Abso!ute Sound may be copied yadda yadda yadda..."

Which prompted me to point out the total absurdity with this:

"The" -- The Abso!ute Sound (copied without permission)

The Fair Use Doctrine allows for excerpting. What's the source of the data you were referring to?

The Zobel network Wiki article...um... that's not using just resistors for EQ, there's always a reactive element.  You can't EQ anything with just resistors, no matter how many there are.  Funny that article was referenced, I've used those things.  I can promise you, there's way more than resistors in there!

That's what I was thinking. You need to have reactance (either L or C) in order to have some sort of filter in the frequency domain. A Zobel network with only resistors can just be simplified to a resistor network because there's no imaginary component in the Z (impedance).

Thanks for clarifying the rest of the matter too.

Heheheh.

If it's just a graph, a plot, or a table you're wanting to post, I don't see any problem with that at all.
