For the person who has everything....

....except for even the slightest bit of common sense:

There are also a bunch of average headphones on ebay for about $8000. What is with that? Why would someone even bother to place those listings?

Or how about an amplifier for only $90,000 if you buy it now:

To avoid relisting fees.

I seen somebody try to flog a pair of Beat Solo's on ebay once for £30,000, because it was white gold plated with a diamond plated circle on each ear cup.

Made me sick to my stomach to see such a failure of a headphone prepped up like that. frown.gif

I don't think ebay charges relisting fees anymore.

OP, I saw that amp and was wondering about it. I like how they recommend it for headphones costing a tiny fraction of the price they've set the amp at. Maybe the seller is trying to single-handedly jump start the Greek economy.

I think the $2.5 million headphones are obviously some kind of joke. Maybe it is a way to get someone to click on the seller's list of other items for sale?

And I am not sure how hugely overpricing an item would avoid relisting fees anyways.

I do not know what to make of that amp tongue.gif

Heya,

You don't have everything until you have a Ghost in a Jar from ebay.

Very best,

Clearly a joke, unless they're trying to convince someone that the headphones are actually made out of diamond.

They seem to have revised the price on the first one...

Yes, just a slight price drop from $2.5 million to $279. Either they were really fishing to see if someone would bite, or it was a typo. But, talk about a typo!

I'm surprised they don't say it's 99.99% off the original price now..
