Macbook Air + Sennheiser Momentum + Rdio...do I need a standalone DAC?

My current setup is the Sennheiser Momentum plugged in directly to my 2012 Macbook Air. My music is streamed from Rdio, which I believe uses 192kbps lame-encoded mp3s.

 

Would my setup benefit significantly from a standalone DAC? If so, which do you recommend for around $150? Preferably, I'd want something that I can conveniently bring to and from work everyday.

I use the Fiio E10(http://www.fiio.com.cn/products/index.aspx?ID=100000028262517&MenuID=105026003) with my desktop, it's a small DAC/AMP combo that only needs a usb cable and provides pretty great sound. I'm not sure how it compares to the built in macbook air equipment though, maybe someone else can provide you with insight on that.
