It's sad to see this lovely DAP go, but my commute time has shortened considerably since I bought the DX100. I spend much of my time in front of a computer now and a desktop solution is best for me as I rarely use the DX100 anymore. Hopefully, I will be able to pass this little guy onto someone who will love him dearly and let him sing his heart out. This DAP is a beast. Pairs very well with even my full sized LCD-2.2s for a portable amp section. I've heard it pairs well with pretty much anything you throw at it, but don't take my word for it. Check out the huge DX100 Thread. The firmware is constantly updated and the manufacturers responds well to buyer input/criticism. iBasso customer service is generally great.
Best firmwares so far: 1.17, 1.27, and 1.37. Sound signature remains the same, but clarity, bass, soundstage, etc have subtle differences.
