The Fiio X3 Thread. - Page 60

Sorry if this has been asked before, but does it support m3u playlists?

I also see that it does not offer a sort by year. With a large capacity, which obviously this player would have with a 64 gig Micro card, a year sort would be a nice feature. Maybe I'm an exception, but I do use that sort on my J3.

Granted, neither issue is a stopper for me, so far the player seems quite impressive for the msrp.

sorry, m3u is not supported. and can't offers a short by year, now the most important work to us is to make the firmware stable. it already be a big challenge to us because X3 support too many kinds of music formats.

yes, it is the same because both based on the same hardware.

I have tried to measure the EQ system but it is more difficult than I think. I ended up given it up. But from what I do have, they should be very similar. I'll try again to get some real RMAA measurement but no guarantee here.

It seems there's no talk of the UI. What is it most similar to in terms of the "features" it has? Like, does it have file browser, playlist manager, etc. Mind you, as long as it has a file browser, that is already a good thing on top of all the numerous file format supported.

A pure line-out is better for such a config.

Good news is that If you're always using a DAC then you still don't need a line out.

If you corrected the grammar problems and the clunky style of some of the writing? I'm confused I didn't say anything about the line out confused.gif

PM sent.

That's neutral news, since the line out is there anyway :)

I don't know why I'm obsessing over such trivial details, but I really think it looks better. Could it be implemented in a future firmware update or something?

+1: I agree wholeheartely.

James, is there any chance for this? Seems...much, no, MUCH better.

I don't know why I'm asking this, but could there be rockbox for the x3?

The question was asked many times.

The SoC and many requests for customs and many features is more or less what caused the X3 to sink many years ago.

For the X3, no.

I think it had something to do with the SoC maker not wanting to let the chip be tampered with.

I feel like Rockbox developers have to add more DAPs. All they have are really old DAPs.

Sorry for asking again. I didn't know that it was asked. Anyways, thanks for answering.
