Translating back from Google Russian wink.gif:

“Unfortunately the language that sounds so good to my ears but that I cannot speak cannot be included in X3, but I may be mistaken.”

Support for Russian is an interesting question BTW. Since the interface supports both Hanzi and Latin, technically it must be able to support Unicode and/or different codepages. So it shouldn't be that hard to be able to set the default charset (for non-unicode tags and file names) and add Cyrillic characters to the font(s). Since FiiO products are officially sold in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Bulgaria, supporting Cyrillic probably makes sense, business-wise.

Not the showstopper for me personally, but I'd like to have X3 support Russian.

EDIT: I know the hardware is finalized, but software is upgradeable so I hope my humble wish isn't too off topic rolleyes.gif

I don't know for sure, so don't quote me on this. But, if the release is anything like the FiiO E12, then FiiO will use their US distributor for at least the first batch of them. Their US distributor is miccastore.com

Dude, I just can't wait for it. I was desperately looking for a new DAP and tadaam old friend Fiio saved the day. I can't wait for it that's true but I prefer them to take their time and make it as good as possible. Waiting now is way much better than sufferring later.

I second it.

Because of the FiiO X3 .... I'm considering  HIFIMan HM-601 nor HM-602 any more.

Thanks you, FiiO, now I will not buy the Astell & Kern AK100. The MSRP is really cool. I have no idea why the FiiO X3 supports up to 64 GB FAT32 cards: Windows can't format any storage as 64 GB FAT32.

we are going to make the first batch of X3 soon, so far the firmware and hardware have not big problem so X3 will may launch outside china in June or July when the mass production finish.

the trial version is very few but we will send some sample to our reviewers. be noted that we will not accept any new application for review sample because we have enough reviewers.
