I have seen posts about using 256 gb sd card in a micro sd to sd adapter in the rev two discussion. It was mentioned that rev two can handle OTG.

In advance of my x2 rev two demo is picked up one of the adapters and tried it with the current x3 with no joy.

Was that to be expected or am I missing something?

Thanks

Thanks for the link, but I'm a little confused. The page is just "extra shipping", nothing about batteries. Did see this link though: http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/FiiO-X3-Spare-parts/1473108_32234108503.html.

Thank you for your mail and support to FiiO!

Yes, you can buy the battery from us. You can pay it in this website. http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Extra-shipping-cost/1473108_32233147015.html

Just change the quantity to 15 and tell us your name, address, postal code and tel. We will choose post office to send it to you once we get your pay. I send you the instruction.

If you have any other question, please feel free to contact us or post a message on FiiO forum (http://www.fiio.me/forum.php) directly! We will reply you ASAP.
Have a nice day!

Best Regards,

I see now. When I contacted them earlier about batteries, they just said to use their paypal acct. and said to get back to them with my address, etc.

I see no reason contacting Fiio now, I'll just buy a battery from their store.
Thanks 7keys.

I haven't checked in here in awhile.  I like FW3.34beta, particularly for the over-5800-file indexing capacity.  I like the sound quality.  I've added this FW to my collection, because I do go back and forth amongst various FWs (depending on which features I'm in the mood for) ...all the way back to the FW2.1 that came with this X3.  I like 2.1 for the simpler menu navigation and the uncropped cover art.  I frequently check out track information (mainly for bitrate) and that's been harder and harder to do for several firmwares now.  I never can master how long to press the top left button to get to the circular menu showing trash can, information, set as favorite, et cetera.
