Woot! I already have an acct with them even. Ordered a Cowon C2 a few months back and they got it to me within 30 hrs. Great company.
They've already gotten an email from me concerning the X3 popcorn.gif

All the same, I beg you to add support for the format MusePack! He is too good!

I can fully understand you but we need to make sure all the format which we support is working perfect and them we can consider other music format.

What's so good about musepack that you'd prefer that over FLAC/WAVE/APE?

I must have missed this on the product webpage or in the review, but can someone tell me what capability the X3 has (if any) for creating playlists on-the-go (i.e. on the player, not using a computer).

The iPod Classic has many shortcomings but one thing it is fantastic for is creating it's own playlists:

* There is virtually no limit to the number of songs one can include in each playlist (unlike the limitation on the Cowon J3, which is infuriating)

* The iPod Classic allows creation of MULTIPLE playlists (unlike Cowon J3, which only allows one playlist - again, this is infuriating).

* One thing the Cowon J3 is really good for, though, is allowing creation of usable bookmarks, on-the-go.

Anyway, can anyone confirm what capability the X3 has for creation of it's own playlist(s)?

Thanks!

X3 = MP3 Player + E17. Get it if you need an mp3 player as well as the E17

X 3 is an e17 that can be used only as an mp3 player, the E17 can be used as an amp or an external dac , kinda different

sorry I guess I should have explained myself better but I guess you got my point anyhow.

I already have mp3 player(s) and have recently started considering e17 until I came across this...if I can get similar(same) quality with x3 alone instead of mp3+e17, I'd strongly consider going with x3 for the sake of simplicity. at this point I'm not worried about the sound quality as much as "player" aspects of x3 such as GUI...
