I also interested to know the sound quality comparison between Fiio X3 and HiSound Nova 3.
Perhaps ClieOS who is an expert in this area can comment on this.

since the first time my friend introduce me X3, i've been waiting this product so muchhhh.

so we can say it "useless" when we pair X3 with e11(own it) ?? even to add more bass?

sorry for my english :D

I already briefly cover this on the review. On clarity alone, Nova has a slight edge. But overall, X3 is richer in tone, more powerful and sound more authority.

X3 already has hardware bass boost built in and it is stronger than the bass EQ on E11.

Between Fiio X3 and IBasso DX50, which is a better choice in term of sound quality?

As we know IBasso famous for DX100, one of the best DAPs in the industry.

My friend sold his for $200, and this was the used to be price of one. Before Sennheiser enforced MAP pricing.

Just wondering how HiSound was able to pull off that 80 hrs battery life on their Studio V 3rd Anniv. Maybe they don't have that much powerful amp like X3 has?

Tai,

If this is said from the Nova point of view... Nova sounds thinner and more analytical?

I never chase for soundstage. Tone is the most important for me. Sound/tone with flesh and blood, and hopefully soul; the last one is very rarely found on hi-fi equipment. How good X3 deliver this?
