How safe is a forwarding service like Tenso.com?

Hi All,

 

Just a quick question.

Ordered a ATH-A900x from Amazon Japan and am using a forwarding service named Tenso, it was recommended to me by one of the Head-Fi forum users.

 

But I'm just wondering how safe this is and if anyone else has experience with Tenso or any other forwarding service specifically in Japan.

I haven't personally used Tenso, but I've heard very good things about the service from friends that have.

May I chip in on this thread?

 

How long does it take for them to update the package information (inspection and calculating the fee)? My earphones have been "shipped" (according to amazon) and I'm waiting for it to appear on tenso. Normally how long will this take?

UPDATE: headphones well received and package looked really nice. The thing I wasn't very happy with was that when they came to deliver the cans they charged me 50 extra euros for customs!
