EDIT->
also, i just saw these:
post #679 of 23133/9/13 at 3:41pmInteresting sale on Ebay for a new Audio Technica ATH-W5000
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/151007951026?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
Only 30 minutes left and the only bid is about $200 BUT the seller has no feedback at all ... zero. Could be the same scammer who was preying on members here ... hmmmmmmmmmmmm I for one am not going to bite ... will you ?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update: New Audio Technica ATH-W5000 was sold for about $256. USD. If this is a legit sale its the deal of the century.... but I just feel its a scam ... time will tell.

ATH-AD700 for $70 Refurbish free shipping no tax
They also seem to have the ATH-A700X for $80
http://www.soundprofessionals.com/cgi-bin/gold/item/ATH-A700
Lowest price I've ever seen them at. Not too sure how good this website is though.

Not bad, but keep in mind they don't actually sell for $250.00. You can find them a lot cheaper. They are 99 bucks at Amazon.com right now for a brand new pair with full warranty and 30 day return...

I bought 2 pairs a while ago of the AD-700 refurbished from them (life is sweet when your colleague is a head-fi'er) and they came up to canada nicely - product looked new to me apart from the packaging.

I've bought from them before, the ATH-M50's, no problems. I get their promo email, seems they not only are authorized AT dealers, but all they ever feature is Audio Technica gear, be it microphones, turntables, etc.
