It's too bad actually cause that group buy was a good one. I mean you can get the same one on ebay for the base-rate of the group buy, but the group rate is nice. I wouldn't, IMHO, describe that particular link as "predatory pricing" by definition.
Oh well, on to the next deal!

I've never actually tried them.  I almost went in on an Audioengine D1 deal they had a while back, but decided to hold off at the last minute.  Good thing I did, as the Meridian Explorer I heard a few days later kind of blew my mind.
