I want to kick myself placing the order because I don't even want the headphones that bad to begin with, actually I probably won't even use it and give away as a gift. It was kind of my fault for not reading the description but the damn listing had big prints that said Phiaton MS400 Premium Carbon Fiber Headphones on top and black and red color near button as description and I just placed the order. The damn cart and invoice even states it as a headphone too but they are sending me sauce pan (what makes it worse is that the damn pan cost $20 less on Amazon). I've actually made many attempts to cancel the order after a fellow head member made aware of the sauce description. But it seems Wayfair a seller through Rakuten was intent on sending me a sauce pan because they did not cancel the order. Remember the old saying that if something is too good to be true than most likely it is. One good thing did come of this and thatis to never purchase anything from Rakuten and more specifically Wayfair because if there is an issue than your out of luck.

Sorry for my stupid rant.

Do these things sequentially if things fail.

1. Cancel Order online

2. If they shipped, refuse delivery

3. If they delivered to doorstep, send at least two emails of you getting your FULL money back (they pay shipping for their messup) and a return for their deceptive item.

4. If no response, sick your credit company to perform a chargeback (tell them you can provide emails as proof), they get penalized for it, and you get to keep a crappy saucepan.

Consumer rights are on your side. Don't abuse it and it'll be good to you.

Shame, I know. In any case, I ordered just one unit, and don't want to put up with the hassle of return shipping and awaiting for the refund. I'm past it. Back to the deals. smily_headphones1.gif

Maybe you could get another and use them as a transplant can? They aren't that much larger than orthos, are they?

Tried to resist, but pulled the trigger on a refurbished set of Sennheiser Momentums from adgtron on Amazon for $229.99 + $5.99 shipping:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B009FHFFIG/sr=8-1/qid=1367164609/ref=olp_tab_refurbished?ie=UTF8&colid=&coliid=&condition=refurbished&me=&qid=1367164609&seller=&sr=8-1

Both Amazon and at least one other site list adgtron as an authorized online dealer, but I couldn't find them listed on the Sennheiser USA site. A bit concerned (I'd already placed my order at this point), I started digging around a bit, and it appears that adgtron is the same as Dakmart or Dahmart, but I'm not certain this is the case.

At any rate, if I end up with a box of venomous snakes or something instead of what I ordered I'll let you guys know.

I would have taken advantage of the sale newegg is having right now on the Momentums:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=26-106-629&ParentOnly=1&IsVirtualParent=1

Cheaper than what you paid for a (Refurbished) set, they are New, and basically $200 dollars, probably free shipping as well.

You've nothing to worry about. I've purchased through them (via Amazon) plenty. Never encountered a bad experience, to date.

@Greed:

Looked at those, pretty awesome deal for those who plan on purchasing something else from Newegg down the line, but I don't have any plans to buy any more computer gear for a bit, so it wasn't that great for me. Still a solid find though.

@Oof Oink:

Thanks man. I had a moment of doubt when I couldn't find them on the Senn page, and when I went to their actual website, it's about as low-rent as you can get. Good to know I'm not going to get a xeroxed picture of some guy's bum beside my $230 or anything. :)

I believe their refurbished products include all but the original product packaging. Otherwise, more often than not, you'd have a hard time telling them apart from a new pair (as has always been my experience).

That's a great deal.  It's strange that the promotion isn't valid for the Black ones.
