Quattro De Mayo Seattle meet. 5/04/13 West Seattle Library - Page 2

Hey guys, Donald of Donald North Audio has been kind enough to send me a loaner Sonett 2, and possibly the Stratus, if he has the demo available to send, for this Seattle meet, as well as the Vancouver meet the day after.

I'll confirm Stratus when he updates me.

Cheers

That is awesome that you are getting some DNA gear for the meet. That is some gear that has not been to the Seattle meets. This meet is shaping up nicely with New Gear. Any questions or concerns please pm or call me. (206) 651-4179.

My electra may come by then. My 009 are back ordered for 2 months so they probably wont be there.

Hopefully we'll have another 009 so I can see if the pair are worth pursuing. :)

I'm guessing I can leave my Schiit stack home and just bring my HD800/LCD3/LCD2.2 and DNA gear? I'll be bringing Triad L3 and LLP as well for anyone interested. Will be bringing various IEM cables and balanced cables for Audeze with HD800 adapter, and Hifiman cables as well.

Hey, Josh, that is OK. We have meets kinda frequent compared to other parts of the U.S. I even have new gear???? The summer meet should be off the chain.

Count me in.  I have new gear that I'd like the gang to take a listen to...check out the Coffman G1-A all-tube analog phono preamp/headphone amp at the Coffman Audio Labs website.  I'll bring it and am looking forward to paring it with the planar magnetics...so far, I think the dang thing has cured my hearing issues....it is that good!  LOL!

Wharfrat brought his new toy by Bottleheadquarters a while back. It's very nice, definitely worth giving a listen. Hopefully he still has some fingers left after he told his wife he was buying it.

Wow!   And the more I look at it... WOW!

That amp looks nice. It is expensive. I like the fact that it has a built in phono stage (way cool). That saves money right there.

Count me in. And Tessa too.

I've ceased using my Carver Receiver as a head amp and my D7000's have been sold.

I'm not sure what I'll have come May...

Update: X-Sabre loaner unit for the meet is confirmed. I'll be bringing it in from Vancouver.

I am in the final process of obtaining a loaner unit for the Mytek Stereo192 DAC.

I'm trying to reach Resonessence so I can ask for a loaner unit of the Concero DSD. Time to give them a call instead of waiting for an email reply.
