Creative Titanium X-Fi Volume Panel and Creative AutoMode Switcher

Hey just in case someone else out there is having the same problem, I figured out today that these two programs will cause my computer to wake up right after I tell it to sleep. I closed the programs, changed the settings so that these programs do not open on startup, and my computer stays fast asleep now.

I don't have that problem.

That said, part of it is because I don't use the AutoMode Switcher at all, just the Volume Panel, and that's just because it's a convenient way to switch CMSS-3D Headphone on or off as needed.

Having the AutoMode Switcher became kind of pointless when I realized that I spent the majority of my time in Game Mode anyway. Even switching to Audio Creation Mode for ASIO support while playing music just wasn't really worth it to me.

Say what is your Windows speaker settings set to? Stereo or 7.1/5.1?

5.1/7.1 for Windows, all the time.

Software-mixed games require it to provide CMSS-3D Headphone with surround channels to mix, and stereo sources sound exactly the same.

Yeah, I had been switching Windows back to stereo every time I would listen to music, but really couldn't tell any difference. Switching will be much easier now! (Just disabling CCSM-3D). Thanks for your information, VERY helpful! =D
