Honeslty there are so many different atributes here:

     1) Service e-mail coverage 24/7 from around the globe. We once had a delivery issue and within 1hr we had it all resolved, and in order to do so we bounced e-mails from China, USA, London & Thailand, all begining at 11:00 PM Satureday Night in China.

      2) Honor - I and my staff pratice a high standard of honor and ethics. If you read over the website, you do not see terms such as "The Best, Worlds Finest" "Perfect" etc etc.  I try to keep things realistic as possible

      3) We let our work speak for us

   4) Passion - we have a passion for what we do. China has a habbit of thinking that the best employee is a drone. I will not have that type of employee working for me. The CIEM crew are top notch and have a passion to produce top shelf products.  Honestly, any one can build a CIEM, the real challenge is building a high quality CIEM consistantly. It takes a passion for perfection to be able to consistantly produce high quality results.

   5) Encouraged to "think" out side of the box....   our crew is continoulsy thinking of new methods and procedures

   6) Heritage, although "Heir Audio" is fairly young, I have been building CIEMs for almost a decade now. I started perfecting my craft in Thailand, built a product line, developed web content, joined MDSP, and in 3 months we opened....   we hit the ground running

I come from a family of audio enthusiasists and Audiologists. It has been great to combine my college training in the physics of sound, acoustics, and the auditory mechanisim and form a business that I love to do every day.

While I may have around 10 years under my belt, our lab crew has a combined experience of almost a century.

    7) A culture of accepting challenges

It takes a lot of heart and guts to compete at this level, against firms with essentially unlimited financial backing and recognition.

Over all, we are a team of hard working perfectionist that have a passion for what we do. Every one from the service department to the soldering team find this work to be inspirational, and are humbled to see how fast we have the grabbed attention of many heard fiers around the world.

I heard that spiral ear SE5 has similar sound sig with heir 8a, but with better technicalities overall. This is from the aj's massive ciem review thread. Oh well, my SE5 will be done in a week. Will try and see what all the fuss is about wink.gif

Has anybody mentioned the UM Miracle yet? I did not read a single bad review about them here on Head-Fi.

To be honest, you could probably choose any one of these flagships and be happy. No need for a best wink.gif

Lol if there really was a "best" everyone would be getting it. Because everyone judges sound the same way and there is a definite objective best in the audio world. cool.gif

Heck, you could do that without spending much money. It's not like they could try it and disagree. LOL

I actually do not like the Heir Audio artwork (please do not hit me). Just a matter of taste. It is impressive technically though.

I feel the same..... plus with heir team posting and advertising in most threads containing word "custom iem" really a turn off for me. I mean there's no seller who says their product is bad, no? I trust credible reviews more than words that coming out of the mouth of the seller.
