Question about Shure SRH240A

Hey everyone.

Tried doing a search and found that no one has tried to review these. I was wondering if anybody owns them. They go for about $40.00 on Amazon and I was wondering if it's worth picking up a pair. I have someone in mind who can't spend a whole bunch but hates the sound of other solutions at this price range. Personally I just bought a set of Shure SRH840s and I LOVE THEM. Simply fantastic.

Anyways, if any of you guys have picked up a set of Shure SRH240As please do reply below and let me know what you think of them. Thanks a bunch!

Regards,

Why do you need the 240 when you already have a 840?

You can wear them in public without looking silly?

I'm actually trying to help someone find a decent set of cans at his $50ish price range. I saw these at $40 and wasn't sure what the thoughts were on them, which is why I'm checking here. It's actually not for me.
