Need help finding an adapter or someone who can make one

I'm using a portable headphones amp with an iPod stored in a pouch. The nature of my pouch is that the controls are inaccessible. I was wondering if anyone has ever seen, made or heard of a line-out adapter that included a rf or bluetooth remote. I don't know the circuitry of the iPod's 30 pin connection, but I know that some docks have remotes. I've even seen rf remotes that have a dock passthrough. I considered buying one of those and plugging my LOD into it, but it would be too bulky. Anyone?

I've found the griffen 9502-clk30 and the Burton BB4661-DO5152. Both are very bulky.

Could these be installed internally by soldering one of them into the circuitry? I can't find anyone who has done this.

Send Station also makes a dock adapter with a headphones jack and working USB port that might be useful.

Are there any modders on this board?
