Thanks Guys!

She doesn't quite fully partake of the hobby, "But why do you need to order these tubes from Russia? You just got tubes from Bulgaria last week..." :D

Since she switched from Maxell Peanutz (Total Garbage BTW) to the TaiChi's, she has been literally blown away by the amazing sound these have compared to the Maxell's. Needless to say the next day the Maxell's hit the trash bin. :D

It's my understanding that JH reduced this down in physical size to fit in his new "Roxanne's", matter a fact I think he got a pair of them in them but was able to keep the dynamics:wink_face:

My budget SR60i portable rig, well more like transportable due to the open back. Otherwise total cost was around $130.

Nice! My first real quality rig, a few years back,  was a pair of SR60i and my rockboxed Sansa Fuze and Clip+. Good memories!  (and agreed, those 'phones are no good on-the-go)

Not sure it gets any more budget than this! Refurb 8gb Clip and Monoprice 9927.
