thanks that rig cost me about $257 total so I guess it qualified as a budget-fi setup

Back again, this time with a DIY dock, made with deodorant bottlecap and my old Walkman's docking adaptor that cost me nothing, but looks pretty good and matches the rig, too.

Because Budget-fi!

I got my portable setup going this week. All in (including 120gb ipod) i'm well under $200. It sounds fantastic to me, coming from ipod earbuds it's like night and day.

I think i'm too new to post a picture, so here it is (i hope that's ok)

I dont use them outside. I like the portability of the ipod and thats why its rockboxed and I only use flac files. Lets me go anywhere in the house.smily_headphones1.gif
