Nah, this was dead useful. Stand-up job. I'll have the exact same setup in a few months, so confirmation of purchase is always good.

 

Play around with EQ (most specifically in the treble) with the 6s? The HE-5LE had my preferred amount of sparkle between the two, but didn't have any access to EQ at the time so I wouldn't know how it would have played out otherwise.

No EQ during the review.
Done some tests and they do respond well to EQ,but I do like the sound right off the bat biggrin.gif

Great review for HE-6. still considering lcd 3 and he 6 which is designed for my ear.

It will be updated wit newer equipment

 

Next will be the Denon stock leather pads (vs. the velours) and after that new cables from Norse Audio (or Q cables) vs. my current silver stock HE-5 cable later on

Right now I am stuck between Q audio and Norse. Right now I have Silver but would like to try copper. Any tips between the two?
