looks ugly imo

I am both intrigued and disgusted by this trend at the same time. I have a fickle heart.

Sorry guy's, not a good design.

Right... and the Americans will make something red/white/blue with a bald eagle on it, or the Canadians will go red with a maple leaf, etc etc. Patriotism and their country's colours, go figure.

i just wish it was engraved/embossed , instead of just being painted on, it would give the look a new level of depth into it

Doable with aluminum cups, and it'd look awesome... but it would likely be *much* more expensive.

I think the fact that it it has a dragon and is coloured gold is because it is timeless and will be seen as symbolising what is good about Chinese culture. I suppose they could have slapped a Chinese flag and Chairman Mao's face on the side but i don't think that would have been as desirable!

Anyway, well done to Sennheiser i say!

It's not just Sennheiser...Ahhhh!

"Ferrari is celebrating its 20th anniversary in China with 20 commemorative custom 458 Italias. With "Marco Polo Red" paint and a golden dragon on the hood, have they made a proper tribute, or just a stereotype?"

"...the dragon on this 458 strikes us as being significantly less tasteful than any of Ferrari's other commemorative treatments. Wouldn't red paint and gold wheels have been sufficiently gaudy?"

It looks like Sennheiser are using a CO2 laser and something like thermark to do the design. I have also recently seen a few of their sponsored artists with personalized amperiors done using the same technique so it may be a service they start offering in the future

omg i am the year of the snake & i think it is really cool that headphones would have snake symbolism on it. don't really like the way the look, but omg i really wanna steal away that little metal snake off those headphones & put em on my headphones!!!

the little metal snake guy on the cord is so cooool. imagine if that was made into a volume control or mic or something.

Heh, sliding the snake down the cord as a volume slider would be very cool. Utterly non-feasible, but cool.
