Power Cord Recommendations

Hi Folks~

 

I would like to change out the power cables in my system. I am using a Micromega Stage 3 player and the Little Dot MK III amp (Senn HD580s). Ideally, I would like to stay around $100 per cable (used). Any suggestions would be welcome.

^ Shunyata Research Venom 3 ($150 each). Best cable for the money.  No more questions your honor.


You should be able to get it cheaper used.

 

Another one I would try is Wireworld Stratus power cords ($75 each)

 

I am still waiting to receive my $50,000 White Night Power distributor 2.5m for my gear. Taking too long to get here from Sweden. :(

More than happy with my Decware powercords ($169)-but I don't have much experience in aftermarket powercords however.

Thanks, cheez. HAve you heard the original Venom vs. Venom 3 and if so, what did you think?

No problem.  I only tried the Venom 3 molded.  It gave me good treble sparks and sounded pretty crisp but lacked bass so I returned it for a refund.  I got the White Night Power 5M and 2M power cables instead.
