Maybe... but when I read that Anedio d2 is in another league.... confused_face_2.gif

I don't know... I'm reading many online impressions.

Another dac I'm reading of is Audio-gd Master7 and Lynx Hilo.

Nice review Project, to the point which I enjoy.  Not sure if I missed it in the long thread, did you have a chance to compare the X-Sabre to the Teac UD-501 ?  comments

Are you not interested in DSD?

So and so.

Even if I have some sacd iso it could always be converted to 192/24 or 96/24 pcm file.

DSD is a plus but it's not necessary for me to be on my future dac.

No news from new owners?

I would think that most people who ordered would have just barely received their unit, and not had much time to form impressions. Apparently Matrix sold out of the first run and there's now a short wait until the next batch is ready. So there must be at least a few users out there.

Yes Arthur is out of units atm. I'm loaning mine to Purk for the Atlanta meet.

Yep, there's a thread about it already. Interesting times for high value, reasonably priced units.

Sorry, I haven't heard the Teac unit. I did a review of one of their network streamers back in the day and had some rather harsh words for it. Since then I get no replies to emails about potential reviews. Oh well.

Ha Ha......they have locked you out of all future products......It always astonishes me when companies do this
