How much amping can these headphones take without breaking?(mW i believe its called?max voltage...

How much "mW" voltage things can these take?ive heard that 1500mW is too much for the q40,any amps too powerful for any of these headphones?

Heh,enna e yanja dude.of course i wanna know the limit of these things.everyone says these benefit from an amp,but the xb500 like i stated earlier blew out on a software equalizer called playerpro on android.and plan on IMPROVING THE SOUND of these headphones if i ever get those :p

If you don't turn up the volume to max, they won't break. Before they break, they all will distort.

Many amps can easily kill headphones.

thats what i thought too,but nope.some headphones bust on 25% volume if you boost the bass using the knob at the bottom of playerpro instead of the 5-band equalizer,enna e yanja dude :p

Why do you want to turn them up so loud? You realise that loud sound can(and does) irreparably damage your hearing?

its not about volume, its about more headroom before the clipping to avoid dac distortion when eq'ing

When the question mentions how much amperage to break headphones, it's no longer about clipping.
