Upgrading my headamp pico upsampling usb audio dac. Suggestions?

Hello people,

 

I've been wanting to upgrade my DAC to something better but would prefer not to spend much really.

I was looking at the Audioquest dragonfly and was wondering if it will be a significant upgrade over my pico DAC. I will be using it mainly to connect my Marrantz pm6003 to my desktop PC and a pair of Wharfedale diamond 10.1's. If I will not notice an improvement in sound quality, what other  DAC would you recommend under 1000$?
