So, it is difficult be can be done. Maybe the straight plug is easier to do?

Mr. Bill said to keep an eye out so maybe there will be cables coming along after a while.

I've had my Sleek Custom headphones (CT 6) for 5 years now; I still use them quite a bit and - lucikily - I'm still using the original cable.....

This being said; I was looking for a very good quality custom cable for my headphones and found Vesper Audio. I think I may splurge and give them a try.

That's really how I found this thread in the first place, I wanted to see if anyone else had received a cable for their SA6/7 from this Russian company.. Rawrster mentioned them but that was all. :(

If I do end up buying a cable from them I'll update this thread and let you know how it goes.

Yes, we are all waiting to hear about the cable. I may jump, too.

We have read these threads and understand some of the Audiophiles want the different bass ports.  I've read that people are using the different ports from the SA6 and like the difference.  When we released the SA7 we saw a minimal change with the various bass ports and decided that the average consumer would not notice the differences.  Having said that, head-fier's are not the typical consumer and in general have a more discerning ears.  If anyone would like the additional bass ports please email us at info@sleek-audio.com and we will send them out for no charge.

Awesome service.

A little too late as I purchased the bass ports with my SA7 purchase, but yes, a very nice gesture.  I'm still very pleased with the SA7.

The SA7's are now on sale for 200$ on the website, saw somewhere that the sale is until the end of the month. Just bout to pull the trigger on these. Does anyone know what my DP will look like as a graphic for the case? Or is it even possible to do it with my DP? It seems a bit too complicated compared to other logos I've seen. Also a previous poster received his SA7 with the bass ports will I also get the ports?

EDIT: Ended up going with a different image.

Sale until Dec 20 for 25% everything in the cart.  That makes the SA7 $187.49, CT7 $524.99, CT6 $299.99.  Use code "save25"

The SA7 keeps having these good deals. I'm definitely a fan of the SA7 with my configuration of the bass and treble ports.

Good to know, but I NEED that W-1 accessory, lol.

REALLY hard to find though. Too bad Kleer has been acquired by another company and then bought by some other...

Please let us know in case you find a brand new to sell.

You might want to investigate the Sennheiser R 160 (transmitter, part #534476). This transmitter also utilizes Kleer technology.

Also, take a look at Digifi wireless. This article claims that Digifi uses the same technology as Sennheiser's Kleer wireless.

I have been enjoying the Kleer W-1 for quite a few years now. Mostly listen during training sessions on an exercycle. Biggest concern now is that the battery is going to expire for good. Perhaps the new Sleek people will be able to replace the battery. They also might know if the R160 transmitter would be compatible with your phones.

One last thought. I recently compared the Sleek SA6 buds with W1 transmitter, to a Shure S215 wired. I have to say Sleek wireless is no match for the S215. Compressed dynamics, less harmonic richness, very poor bass extension, overall Sleek sound quality is just not there.

Sleek Audio should be able to fix your W-1, take a look:

It shouldn't be a problem to find a compatible transmitter.

This one also works, according to Sleek Audio:

The difficulty would be finding the receiver to attach the SA7 earbuds to. And with a good battery life, if possible.

Thanks for the info. I just wish I could find a transmitter and receiver combo. Also, the SA6 buds may be no match, but what about a SA7?

I was gonna mention this as well.

Same with this.

If you find anything like this lemme know, lol, because as far as I know, no headphones exist that use anything other than bluetooth, and if there are headphones that do, they are the bigger on/over ear ones which aren't really portable.
