I just bought ARTPOP and listening to it, and I'm having trouble finding this holographic sound, but indeed CD sounds better than Spotify even with Fidelify. Day and night difference wink.gif

I used to have that issue... All headphones sound like normal earbuds to me at the very very beginning of my journey... however, after a full album run down with a different headphone other than my iBuds, then I realized what I missed all the time! That's what brought me here xD

I think the environment you're in also matters a lot...especially if you have open headphones.

When my buddy demo'd my HE-500s he had the fan on at bull blast next to him so obviously it didn't sound like a $700 headphone.

I then tried listening with the fan next to me and it was absolutely horrible.

I completely agree. It even strongly effects my signature dj's, which have awesome isolation.

Thats one of the reasons i got the dj's, isolation is extremely important to me

I gave one of my friends a few minutes listening to my HD25 Aluminium playing (Lindsey Stirling: Shadows) (quote: everything sounds so much more powerful and cleaner) and HP50 (playing Dark Side of the Moon: Money) through my DX50 into Apex Glacier and another friend just the HP50 playing (Hell Freezes Over: Hotel California)...the first friend is now considering buying the Monoprice 8323 and the second friend the CAL. Here's a quick pic of my first friend with the HP50 on (we had a few laughs at this):

I was a bit surprise 'cause I think he's in primary school.

Super sorry BucketInABucket, no offense at all

When I was at primary school, my hobbies are junk foods and snacks

You're consistently the most prolific and active minor here; I don't think many others have gone to meets.
