Hey all, just got a wet bag in the mail, and guess what was inside?

Well, I bought a pair of headphones off another member, found them not at my door, but in my small mailbox. I live in a condo so our boxes are small. I found a wet bag containing my Grado's 225i's inside.

 

No box?!?

 

Please, if you sell your gear, package it properly. If you think your price is too low, don't cheap out by sending it in a bag.  Raise your price by $2-$3.

 

Sorry, but I had to vent. Damn it.

Luckily they work fine.  I was just a little disappointed at the careless way in which he packaged them.

I have to sell and ship a pair of headphones. I am thinking of wrapping them in Saran wrap. Do you think that would be sufficient? I mean after all how bad can it be.

 

Please do not try this at home. I am an expert. Especially with Saran wrap. Hehehe.

If I am sending out smaller headphones and don't have the original packaging, usually I'll bubble wrap, ziploc bag, then box it with with foam pellets and crumpled newspaper stuffing. Then wrap the box in plain paper so you can see if it got banged up during shipping. 

 

If I'm sending out bigger headphones, I might skip the ziploc bag. If I have the original packaging, I'll most likely still double box if the original one isn't very sturdy (such as ones with the thin clear window).
