For Sale:
Beyerdynamic T1 balanced 4 pin XLR / also RSA SR-71B with Whiplash Audio adapter

Will Ship To: Canada/US

**Beyerdynamic T1s SOLD - I'll revise and move the ad to the amplification section when time permits**

Looking to downgrade as funds are needed elsewhere so I'm selling my balanced rig.

First are the Beyerdynamic T1's.  I am the third owner of these and they sound great.   Not sure of the number of hours on them.  I didn't use them all that much as I don't have a lot of time for dedicated listening.

I don't think the T1s get the attention they deserve.  I have compared them directly to the HD800s and there is a naturalness to some areas that the HD can't match.  Some instruments just sound more real on the T1s than any headphone I've tried.

There are a few cosmetic blemishes and thus the $old price tag.  The previous owner did not disclose that he had bent the armatures to lessen the clamping force and it caused a little crinkling in the powder coating around the T1 cut out.  It is not weakened at all, just a crinkled coating.  pictures exaggerate how visible it is as I didn't even notice for the first couple weeks.

There is a small ding in the mesh on one side. I did that some how and can only imagine that it was when I took them on a road trip and I placed them on something with an edge like a piece of wood or something.  Nothing with any force and definitely not dropped or anything like that.

And finally, the left armature is a little looser than the right.  The cup won't drop under it's own weight but it is a little looser than the other side.

Serial no. 50xx

I bought these back in October and tried a few amps until I got the Whiplash audio adapter so I could run these balanced and it was a shot of adrenaline.  Coupled with the SR-71B this is a very nice set-up and one I preferred even to the Violectric V181 with Ipod and CLAS as source.

The SR-71B comes with the silver knob and faceplate and with the black body looks really smart.

Small blemish on one side shown.

Asking $450 for the amp and $75 for the adapter.  ($500 together)

Total would be $1225, but willing to go $1150 including shipping and pp fees if bought as a package.

Pictures tell most of the story.

PS... The only trade I would consider would be some RS-1s (or the RS-1i) + $
